TRAILS IN TIP-TOP CONDITION!
Overall trail conditions are very good to excellent with no fresh snow. Local Trail 419 closure issues have been addressed and both our Groomers are running full force with near perfect results. Operators are reporting groomer friendly snow conditions and light traffic. More snow expected Wednesday to freshen things up. Perfect season so far with cold temps and fresh snow every few days, lets keep snow dancing so it stays that way.
Past 24 hour Grooming operations:
Trails 8 East to 7 miles north of Shingleton and 8 West, 7 North to Christmas and south to Buckhorn Road, Trail 417 to Brownstone Intersection, Trail 418, Trail 419 East and West, Trail 422 and Wetmore Spur.
Today’s Forecast: Sunny, 23 degrees and 5 mph Southwest wind.

No fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday night. Light chop prior to grooming.
8 West - Chatham
Very Good
No fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday and Monday night. Light chop prior to grooming.
7 South - CR440
Very Good
No fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday. Rough prior to grooming so two runs from Doe lake Road south to CR440 were made.
7 North - Christmas
Very Good
No fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday. Light chop prior to grooming.
419 East - Wetmore
Very Good
No fresh snow, groomed multiple times daily. High traffic trail section so may get choppy between grooming runs.
419 West - Munising
Very Good
No fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday. Light chop prior to grooming.
418 - Au Train
Very Good
No fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday. Light chop prior to grooming.
Ride with Caution just East of AuTrain along the Lake Superior shoreline. Large drifts in that area and the trail runs right along the AuTrain River.
417 - Brownstone Jnct.
Very Good
No fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday. Light chop prior to grooming.
422 - Miners Castle
Very Good
No fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday night to H-58. Very Light chop prior to grooming.
Wetmore Spur
Very Good
No fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday night. Very Light chop prior to grooming.
Use Caution in areas of steep side hill conditions near East end.
