We had a busy day yesterday.
We attended the SAW – Snowmobile Advisory Workgroup – meeting in Marquette yesterday.
Don Britton is retiring from the Chairman position. He has been a huge asset to the Snowmobile Program over the years.
He will surely be missed. We are luck to still have him around locally. He has been a big help to Alger SORVA over the years.
We have had spotters out on the trails. The are holding up beautifully. Our main issue is water holes.
It seems like many of them are freezing in nice after panning. We had a crew back in 419 working on the Frog Hollow water hole.
It looks to be freezing up nicely. We have not pulled a drag in there yet. Just the tractor alone doing blade work.
Our famous trail North of Shingleton going North to Beartrap. We are monitoring this closely. If you have any comments or concerns about trail conditions please feel free to share your thoughts on the Facebook comments. We welcome rider feedback.
Over all there is some great riding to be had out there. Better than any thing we saw last year. Get out and ride!
Image shows Frog Hollow Swamp hole after it was worked on yesterday. It is looking pretty good. 🙂
- Please ride with caution.

Frog Hollow Swamp hole was packed in with snow yesterday and looks to be freezing up today. This trail has not had a drag go through yet. Just the tractor for blade work filling in the holes.
