State Sponsored Grant Funding through sticker sales and gas tax only goes so far. For example, your $48 Snowmobile Trail Permit only covers the cost of 9.1 miles of grooming - one time. With exception of the Winter Grooming Equipment, every piece of equipment we use for brushing, grading and trail maintenance, including a building for work and storage, is self funded.

None of this can happen without the support of donations from individuals and businesses with a passion for great trail riding. S.O.R.V.A. of Alger County is dedicated to working year-round at maintaining your trails and we truly appreciate your support.
