GOOD TRAILS, MOTHER NATURE AND EQUIPMENT
Still overall good trails but ……. The Good – Overall good trails, No new snow with trails grooming out great. Contract work is underway with Trail 417 cleared and 418 expected to be completed Monday.
The Big Deere (Sasquatch) ran to Buckhorn Road on Trail7 South from Shingleton last night with great results.
The Bad – The Pisten Bully was headed out to cleanup and groom Trail 417 after it’s being cleared of trees but…. Warning lights and buzzers put an end to that plan. It made it to the 417 Intersection for a turn-around on Trail 8 and had to be limped back to Christmas. Ride with caution on Trail 7 North to Christmas and Trail 8 West as trails could not be groomed on the return pass. The other bad, daytime temps near 40 will have trail conditions dropping quickly and no daytime grooming possible.
This season is having a challenging start, lets hope it is all over with and stays here in the beginning making for perfect grooming operations and trails in the New Year. We will continue to do the best we can and groom as much as possible over Christmas around Family Celebrations – Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe!

Trail 8 from Shingleton to Trail 7 South to Buckhorn Road. Trail 7 South from Christmas to Trail 8 West to Trail 417 Intersection. Wetmore Spur and all of Trail 419 and Trail 422

WORK IN PROGRESS ON TRAILS 417 & 418
- Trees down. broken and/or leaning across the trails on Trail 418. Ride with caution and watch for machines and volunteer crews out there clearing the trails. Trail 417 has been cleared but NOT groomed yet. Areas that are being worked on are extremely rough with big holes in the trail.

Poor
No new snow, Trees Down, Clearing in process. Clear from Brownstone intersection East to Au Train but not groomed, very rough. Watch for equipment and workers.

No new snow, Cleared but Not groomed, very rough. Was on schedule for grooming Saturday night but Pisten Bully broke down and had to limp back to Christmas.

422 - Miners Castle

No new snow, Groomed Friday night.
STAY ON TRAIL AND OFF THE RAILROAD TRACKS - near the south end, follow Trail 422 groomer path onto the shoulder of M-28 when crossing the railroad tracks.
