TRAILS BARELY HANGING ON!
Overall trail conditions are reduced to fair with recent warm weather. Grooming operation were brutal on the operators Friday night. The prior two days of un-groomable conditions and heavy traffic made for ridiculous moguls. Grooming started with balling up snow, removed the moguls and later became a sugary result being left behind. Tractors were breaking through the thin to non existent base in areas due to the ground still not being frozen. Surprisingly we did get s few phone calls with rider reports coming in better than expected. Apparently the wet sugary snow froze in with the lower temps.
Don’t get too excited though, more warm weather and rain forecast over the next few days. Grooming operations will most likely be stopped again. Let’s hope the forecast is wrong.

All of Trail 419 from Christmas to Trail 8 south or Wetmore, Trail 8 from 7 miles north of Shingleton west to Trail 417 intersection, Trail 7 from Christmas south to Buckhorn Road, Trails 417, 418, 422 and Wetmore Spur.
