TRAIL 422 TO MINERS CASTLE CLEARED WITH NEW REROUTE
Overall fair to good trails, no new snow with trails setting rock hard and flat last night. Trail 422 is now cleared and groomed with a really nice reroute near Miners Castle Road, no more entering where the plowed road ends. Now all we need is a bridge so we can get off of 2 miles of H-58. The CFR land owners opened up an old logging road taking us north 1 mile and entering beyond the plowed portion of road. This should put an end to the vehicles always trying to drive the groomed trail and getting stuck. Keith, Chuck and Bill spent Sunday taking the Bully and a sled up there clearing trees and installing signs. Surprisingly the ground is still not frozen which helped sign installation. Chris then followed up and groomed Trail 422 with the Big Deere and Dubie Groomer. We are still working on Trails 417 & 418 which are in poor condition with downed trees.

- Trees down. broken and/or leaning across the trails on Trails 417 and 418. Ride with caution and watch for machines and volunteer crews out there clearing the trails. Areas that are being worked on are extremely rough with big holes in the trail.

No new snow, Cleared and Groomed Sunday night. new 1 mile reroute on the North end entering onto Miner Castle Road now open.
STAY ON TRAIL AND OFF THE RAILROAD TRACKS - near the south end, follow Trail 422 groomer path onto the shoulder of M-28 when crossing the railroad tracks.
