ITS A MIX BUT THERES HOPE!
Since the warmup there has been a dusting of snow and trails are freezing up. There are some trees down from the high winds that we are working on clearing so please ride with caution. Overall we consider trails a 30/70 mix of poor to fair. Snow depths are ranging from very thin near the roadways and open areas to 6 to 12 inches in the shaded wooded areas. Forecasts show snow showers every day, nothing measurable but every bit of new snow really helps. With that our choosing to hold off on early season grooming appears to have paid off. The previously ungroomed main trails did not lose as much snow and are now grooming out rather well. We will be working the trails over the next few days clearing trees and grooming. Please be patient and give a shout out to those riders helping clear trees on their own. Let loose and do some serious Snow Dancing so we can get the riding started! Stay Tuned as we continue to report changing trail conditions.
Past 24 hour Grooming Operations: Trail 8 from Shingleton to West M94, Trail 7 South to Buckhorn Road
Forecast: Scattered Snow Showers, 28º F , Winds E 5 to 10 mph becoming N
Currently: Cloudy, 24º F, Winds S 3 mph
