SNOW COMING!
A dusting of new snow this morning, still lighter traffic and a trail system in overall good condition, fair to poor in towns and near roadways. There are some icy corners and gravel mix snow in the outlying areas so ride with caution. Groomer Operators were again getting really good results last night. We are under a Winter Weather Advisory that just started through 7pm Thursday with a Northeaster coming through. That usually sets up for heavier Lake Effect Snow from Munising West. Lets hope for the higher end of the 3 to 8 inches of snow forecast so we can bump trail conditions up a few notches. Right now there is actually some really good riding to be had considering the limited snow. Ride safe, stay right and enjoy! Keep doing the Cold Weather Snow Dancing and Stay Tuned for updates!

Dusting of new snow with a decent base. Last Groomed: 1/4/2022
7 South - CR440
Good
Dusting of new snow, fair base. Thinner in open areas as you head south toward CR440. Last Groomed: 1/4/2022 from Buckhorn Road North, 1/3/2022 South of that to CR440

Dusting of new snow with a fair base from Trail 8 North into Wetmore, Thin and and dirty snow along M28 entering Munising, may be icy and soft in water hole areas. Last Groomed: 1/3/2022

Dusting of new snow, may be icy and soft in water hole areas. Rough, 2 mile Frog Hollow section off of Brook Street is POOR, rough with soft wet areas and thin, dirty mixed snow. Last Groomed: 1/3/2022

Fair
Dusting of new snow, fair base to the East. West 5 miles are very thin sand/gravel/rocky trail especially along Lake Superior near AuTrain with bare sections. Last Groomed: 1/2/2022
Cross Au Train River bridge with caution as west end railings were damaged a few days ago.
417 - Brownstone Jnct.
Fair to Good
Dusting of new snow, minimal base on the North end which is rough and very rocky. Last Groomed: 1/2/2022
422 - Miners Castle
Good
Dusting of new snow, may be icy in wet areas. very little snow cover on 2 mile section of H58. Watch for ruts on Miner Castle Road as some vehicles are attempting to drive it. Last Groomed: 1/4/2022 North to Miner Castle Road
Watch for ruts from significant vehicle traffic to Miners Castle. Also watch for Icy Corners, stay right and ride with caution
Wetmore Spur
Good
Dusting of new snow, fair base. Watch for a few moguls that develop along M28 near narrow sweeping curve. Last Groomed: 1/4/2022
