A FEW WET & WARM DAYS BUT TRAILS HANGING ON!
Overall trail conditions are good and very much rideable with a good base. Grooming is currently on hold due to warm and wet snow conditions. We expect them to start getting icy with all this wet weather. Near the towns we have bare roads and dirty/icy snow on trails running along the roadways. Trail 419 between Munising and Wetmore has the big hill on the Munising side icy at the top with moguls on the inside corners. We are watching weather and snow conditions closely to resume grooming operations as soon as possible. Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe!

No fresh snow, fairly flat with a good base, groomed Wednesday.
7 North - Christmas
Good
No fresh snow, fairly flat with a good base, groomed Tuesday night, dirty snow and thinner for two miles from Christmas.
419 East - Wetmore
Good
No fresh snow, fairly flat with a good base, icy in some corners and at the top of the big hill leaving Munising, dirty snow along M-28, groomed from Trail 8 into Wetmore Wednesday night, remainder groomed Friday night. Slow down and stay alert to trail conditions
Un-groomable between Wetmore and Munising due to ice at top of hill not allowing groomers to climb, rideable, just slow down and watch trail conditions.
419 West - Munising
Good
No fresh snow, fairly flat with a good base, groomed Monday night from Christmas to West Bay Spur. From West bay Spur intersection to Munising it's fairly flat with moguls on inside corners. Slow down and stay alert in that area. Thin and icy close to Munising.
Partially un-groomable due to ice at top of hills not allowing groomers to climb, rideable, just slow down and watch trail conditions.
