NOTICABLE IMPROVEMENT!
No new snowfall with the trail system now in an overall good condition. Groomer operators were reporting a definite improvement in the trail system yesterday. We are continuing the down equipment struggle with help from neighboring clubs but the entire system is getting groomed in a 24 hour period. We are doing our best with the smaller, lighter equipment and finally making some headway on mogul removal. Stay alert as trouble areas still have a few pockets that will develop throughout the day. Thank our neighboring clubs for helping us keep your trails rideable by grooming additional miles (Trenary Northern Trails, Schoolcraft County Motorized Trails Association and Big Bay De Noc Snowmobile Club). Still looking at a day or two on our Pisten Bully being back up and running. The Big Deere is still in a diagnosis stage of repair. Get out and ride safe, stay right and enjoy the great riding conditions! Keep doing the Cold Weather Snow Dancing and Stay Tuned for updates!
Past 24 hour Grooming Operations: Trail 8 from Trail 417 East to 7 miles North of Shingleton, Trail 7 from CR440 North to Christmas, Trail 417, Trail 418, Trail 419, Wetmore Spur
Forecast: Snow Showers, 32ºF, Winds S → W 10 to 15 mph, gusts to 20 mph, 1 to 2 inches accumulation
Currently: Cloudy, 26º F, Winds S 8
