ORV Season Open – Conditions Favor Sledding!
Trail Reports will be in an ORV format which now include our maintaining of Trail “C” (8, 7, 418, 417) from Shingleton all the way to Marquette. The ORV Season is officially open but there is still plenty of snow to ride your sleds. We had another few inches of fresh wet snow yesterday as we put away the groomers. For sledding Main Trail conditions are fair to good with a few water holes. Our final groom was panning from Wetmore back to our groomer barn in Shingleton yesterday. There is very dirty, gravely snow along roadways near towns. A majority of our Trail System is on State and Federal Land and still rideable for sleds, just note that Trails will begin to be shared with ORV’s. As far as ORV riding we still have lots of snow with large soft spots, slush and water holes in areas. For us it is time to get tires on the club owned Deere and prepare for upcoming brushing and grading. Ride to the Right and Stay Tuned for updates!
Past 24 hour Grooming/Grading Operations: Trail 419 from Wetmore South to Trail 8, Trail 8 from Trail 419 East to Shingleton.
24 Hour Forecast: Scattered Snow Showers → Sunny, 34ºF, Winds N 10 to 15 mph
Currently: Light Lake Efffect Snow, 28º F, Winds N 17 mph
