Well here we are in another melt down….

Sunday was warm here. We have not groomed since Saturday night.
It looked like most of the hotels emptied out on Sunday.

We were able to get in to the trail 8 between the Bear Trap and the Bears Den in Shingleton.
The swamp packed in very nice. Also the water holes to the north were frozen over and the Bison did not break up the ice and we pulled in what snow we could in to those holes.

419 between Christmas and Munising was down to one water hole closer to Munising. It is about 10 feet long and a couple feet deep.

It looks like we will be getting back out grooming Wednesday evening if the weather guessers are correct.
Temps are dropping and Lake Effect Snow machine should start pumping.
We can only hope these warm temps don’t melt the packed in swamps and water holes. Time will tell.
