LAST WEEK OF THE REGULAR SEASON!
Overall good late season trails. Warm daytime weather is softening the snow and letting moguls form as the day’s riding progresses. We are cutting moguls out as good as possible without carving into the hard base. Currently there are a few areas of Trail 8 where the snow is getting “Sugary” but they are flat underneath. Trail 7 South took a hit over the weekend with not being able to groom Saturday night due to warm temperatures and “balling” snow. There is a substantial base across our system and we are just now starting to see a few icy corners and patches. In town trails are starting to get dirty with some bare spots.
The Pisten Bully is still located on the side of Trail 8 right near M-94 in Shingleton so ride with caution in that area.

- The warm weather over the last few days have created a few icy corners on the narrower trails. Slow down, stay right and ride with caution.

8 East - Shingleton
Good
No new Snow, groomed Sunday night. Light chop. Some gravel and bare pavement on connector through Shingleton - STAY ON TRAIL.
PLEASE - STAY ON TRAIL when passing through Shingleton. DO NOT cross private properties.
8 West - Chatham
Good
No new Snow, groomed Sunday night. Light chop.
7 South - CR440
Fair
No new Snow, groomed Friday night. Choppy.
7 North - Christmas
Good
No new Snow, groomed Sunday night. Light chop. Some bare spots along last 2 miles on Christmas end.
419 East - Wetmore
Good
No new Snow, groomed Sunday night. Light chop.
419 West - Munising
Good
No new Snow, groomed Saturday night. Smooth with light chop between Munising and Wetmore expected to develop with a few dirt patches. Dirty snow along sides of M-28.
418 - Au Train
Fair to Good
No new Snow. Choppy. WARNING AREA - see below:
TRAIL 418 NOTICE - VERY ROUGH HAZARD Location: 1 1/2 miles East of AuTrain. Recent snow melt damaged a 1/8 mile section of trail. Slow down and Use caution when riding this area. DETOUR: Take Trail 417 South from Brownstone Junction to Trail 8 East.

422 - Miners Castle
Good
No new Snow, groomed Sunday night. Fifty percent bare road and gravel along section of trail on H-58.
LOGGING - Road clearing for logging trucks has started on the North leg of Trail 422. A short section just as you come off of H-58 is being cleared by dozers. Ride with caution in this area and watch for heavy equipment as you pass through.
