TAKING A HIT BUT HANGING ON!
Overall very good late season trails. There is a substantial base with a soft top for some great riding conditions. Photos from our groomer recovery show the trail conditions well. We are starting to see a few icy corners and in towns trails are starting to get dirty with some bare spots. We were hit with temperatures close to 50 degrees yesterday which put off actual grooming until very late last night. Temperatures have dropped so we expect to have the entire system groomed by Saturday morning with exception of Trail 418 from AuTrain East and Trail 419 between Wetmore and Christmas.
The Pisten Bully was pulled to a location for pick-up yesterday. It is located on the side of Trail 8 right near M-94 in Shingleton so ride with caution in that area. The team did a great job loading it up and moving with a colorful train of machines on a warm March day.

WARNING - TRAIL HAZARD Pisten Bully is off to the side of Trail 8 waiting for a truck. It is just to the West side of M-94 in Shingleton.
8 West - Chatham
Good

7 North - Christmas
Good
No new Snow, groomed Sunday night. Light chop. Attempted grooming from Christmas for 2 miles Wednesday night - too warm.
419 East - Wetmore
Very Good

Good
No new Snow, groomed Wednesday night. Very light chop on a few inside corners. Larger moguls between Wetmore and Munising. Dirty snow along sides of M-28 with a few small dirt patches.
418 - Au Train
Good
No new Snow. Groomed west end from AuTrain to Trail 417 Monday night. Very light chop. WARNING AREA - see below:
TRAIL 418 NOTICE - VERY ROUGH HAZARD Location: 1 1/2 miles East of AuTrain. Recent heavy snow melt and use damaged a 1/8 mile section of trail. Slow down and Use caution when riding this area, it is passable. DETOUR: Take Trail 417 South from Brownstone Junction to Trail 8 East.

STAY ON TRAIL! When crossing railroad tracks near Timber Products you must go onto the shoulder of M-28. Do Not cross directly over the tracks behind the signal. Trail is clearly signed so please respect the railroad.
Wetmore Spur
