TRAILS HOLDING ON WITH WARM WEATHER!
Overall very good to excellent late season trails. There is a substantial hard and flat base with a soft top for some perfect riding conditions. Trails are holding with the weekend forecast looking favorable. We tried grooming again last night but it was “balling up” in the groomer so the run was cut short. We will try again tonight.
Pisten Bully is still sitting on Trail 8 just East of Trail 422 with a path groomed around it. Machine will be moved today so watch for heavy equipment. Please slow down and ride with caution on Trail 8 between Wetmore and Shingleton. (see map)
Past 24 hour Grooming Operations:
Trail 419 West – cut short due to wet snow.
Today’s Forecast: Isolated Showers, 42 degrees, 5 to 10 mph Southwest wind.

WARNING - TRAIL HAZARD, PISTEN BULLY DOWN
- Pisten Bully down on Trail 8 approximately 1/2 mile East of Trail 422 intersection. It is in an open area with a groomed path around it. It is being moved today so watch for heavy equipment, Slow-down and ride with extreme caution in this area. (see Map picture below for location)

No new Snow, groomed Monday night. A groomer is currently down with a temporary path groomed around it. Being moved today so watch for heavy equipment. (see Warning and Map picture below for location)
WARNING - TRAIL HAZARD, PISTEN BULLY DOWN on Trail 8 approximately 1/2 mile East of Trail 422 intersection. The tractor and groomer are completely blocking the trail. Road Cones and Hazard Markers are in place. There is a groomed path around it. Slow-down and ride with extreme caution in this area. (see Map picture below)
8 West - Chatham

No new Snow, groomed Monday night. Very light chop on a few inside corners.
7 South - CR440

419 East - Wetmore

419 West - Munising
Good
No new Snow, groomed Thursday night. Very light chop on a few inside corners. Larger moguls between Wetmore and Munising. Dirty snow along sides of M-28.
418 - Au Train
Very Good
No new Snow. Groomed west end from AuTrain to Trail 417 Monday night. Very light chop. WARNING AREA - see below:
TRAIL 418 NOTICE - VERY ROUGH HAZARD Location: 1 1/2 miles East of AuTrain. Recent heavy snow melt and use damaged a 1/8 mile section of trail. Slow down and Use caution when riding this area, it is passable. DETOUR: Take Trail 417 South from Brownstone Junction to Trail 8 East.

STAY ON TRAIL! When crossing railroad tracks near Timber Products you must go onto the shoulder of M-28. Do Not cross directly over the tracks behind the signal. Trail is clearly signed so please respect the railroad.
Wetmore Spur
Very Good
No new snow, Groomed Sunday. Very light chop near the steep bank section on East end.
