FAIR TRAIL CONDITIONS!
Late season riding conditions for sure with most of our trail system still groomable. We received about an inch or so of visible new snow on top of a mess made from a few days of warm sunny weather. Our Trail System is in Overall Fair Condition with some areas in now un-groomable poor condition. We are currently seeing on and off Lake Effect snow bands passing through which should help those sections of trail still holding on. Trail 8 from Shinleton West to Trail 417, Trail 417 to Brownstone Intersection and Trail 7 from 2 miles South of Christmas South to Buckhorn Road are in Fair condition. Trail 8 from Shingleton North for about 5 miles, Trail 7 South of Doe lake Road and Trail 419 from Wetmore to about 2 miles Northwest of Munising are in poor condition and un-groomable. In the towns and along highways you will be finding dirty snow and bare spots. With Trail 8 just North of Shingleton being as bad as it is we most likely did our last run helping neighbors to the East. This was done last night grooming East on Trail 8 from the Bear Trap intersection to the Trail 43 intersection with decent late season results.  Keep snow dancing, get out and ENJOY what is left of the Trails, Ride Safe and Stay Tuned for updates!

Past 24 hour Grooming Operations: Trail 8 from Shingleton West to Trail 7 North, Trail 7 from Christmas South to CR440, Trail 419, Trail 422 to Miners Castle Road and Trail 8 for 21 miles North/East from Shingleton. (reference map below for trail locations)

24 hour Forecast: Lake Effect Snow, 14º F, Winds NW 20 to 25 mph, Gust to 40 mph, 1 to 2 inches accumulation
Currently: Lake Effect Snow, 17º F, Winds NW 18 mph, Gusts to 31 mph
