NEAR PERFECT CONDITIONS!

Overall trail conditions are very good to excellent with no fresh snow. Both our Groomers are running full force with near perfect results. Yesterday’s run was timed perfect with both groomers meeting on Trail 419 when returning (photos below). The Operators are really happy with the snow being so groomer friendly this season, we are sure the riders too. The UP 200 Dog Sled Race and the Munising Ice Climbing Festival are wrapping up today – Please see the General Warning below and ride with caution. Enjoy your riding, stay right and stay safe!

Past 24 hour Grooming operations:
Trails 8 East to 7 miles north of Shingleton and 8 West, 7 North to Christmas and south to CR440, Trail 419 East and West, Trail 422 and Wetmore Spur.

Today’s Forecast: Scattered Snow, 21 degrees and 5 to 10 mph variable wind.

Trail etiquette – Please whenever possible move off the trail for groomers to pass. We can stop and raise a wing for snowmobiles to pass in some areas of the main trails but many areas we can’t. Groomers cannot move off the trail at all – they will get stuck in the deep snow. Preferrably, If you see a groomer coming look for the nearest spot to pull off and wait for them to pass or turn around to find one. Your cooperation with the grooming activities really helps and is greatly appreciated.

PLEASE ride with caution, stay right and be respectful, stay on the trail and off the throttle when in the towns.
Keep Snow Dancing with your friends and stay tuned for updates!
