PERFECT CONDITIONS!

Overall trail conditions are very good to excellent with more fresh snow last night. Both our Groomers are running full force. Last nights grooming had plenty of drifting snow to deal with. Especially along Lake Superior in AuTrain. Grooming results were excellent with surprisingly no traffic. The UP 200 Dog Sled Race and the Munising Ice Climbing Festival are both this weekend – Please see the General Warning below and ride with caution. This is the busiest weekend of the year for snowmobile traffic. We will be out doing our best to keep the trails flat as possible. Enjoy your riding, stay right and stay safe!

Past 24 hour Grooming operations:
Trails 8 East to 7 miles north of Shingleton and 8 West, 7 North to Christmas and south to CR440, Trail 419 East and West, Trail 417, Trail 418, Trail 422 and Wetmore Spur.

Today’s Forecast:  Scattered Snow, 19 degrees and 5 to 15 mph Northwest wind. 1 inch of accumulation.

Cover Photo: Operator Keith grooming Trail 417 last night.

Grooming Education: In one of the photos you will see piles of snow on the trail. This shows how the blade cuts the moguls and pushes a roll of snow at the front. Then how the Dubie Groomer collects and processes the snow behind it. The two piles to the side were in the tail end of the wings. Backed up to remove a chunk of ice that was making a groove.

PLEASE ride with caution, stay right and be respectful, stay on the trail and off the throttle when in the towns.
Keep Snow Dancing with your friends and stay tuned for updates!
