SUBSTANTIAL SNOWFALL NEEDED

Another few inches of snow fell overnight but still nothing substantial in the 10 day forecast. Enough lake-effect snow did fall over the last few days on a line from Miners Castle to Shingleton to do some panning and training with the groomers yesterday. Even in these areas no cutting could be done, just panning and snow harvesting with the wings on our Dubie Groomers. Though we have about 15 miles of our 101 mile trail system in fair condition, overall trail conditions still remain poor. We are seeing some die hard riders out on the trails but conditions are unfavorable, visibly seen kicking up the gravel and dirt in areas. We are still in a waiting game so stay tuned as we keep you up to date with the trail and grooming status.

Past 24 hour Grooming Operations: ( Panning Only ) Trail 8 from Shingleton North 7 miles, Trail 8 West to Trail 422 and Trail 422 North to Miners Castle.

Forecast: Snow Showers before 1 pm, High 23ºF, Winds S 10 mph to 15 mph with gusts to 25 mph and changing to W, Less than 1 inch accumulation
Currently: Flurries, 27ºF, Winds calm
