Trail Conditions Not Good!
Please SNOW, SNOW, SNOW……
Trail conditions have really deteriorated with the warm weather. Overall its dirty riding conditions, poor with bare spots and waterholes. Most of Trail 8, Trail 7 North and Trail 422 have some snow cover but dirty riding. We have No grooming equipment operation scheduled at this time. On the good side Trail 419 is now open heading out of Munising – but again no snow.
Tomorrow’s forecast is for a rainy 40 degrees and 5 to 10 mph S winds. Snow Friday but only forecasting an inch right now, let’s hope the lake effect engine fires up and they are wrong.
If you must venture out please ride with caution and conservatively. Try not to dig holes when you you accelerate. A hard flat trail base makes for a great season of grooming and riding.
Keep Snow Dancing with your friends. Stay tuned for updates!
(Today’s photo is a very deep water hole in Shingleton at the M-94/Trail 8 North/Trail 41 intersection.)
