Not Looking Good
We need snow!!!!!!!!!
No new white stuff now or in the long range forecast. Yesterday Operator Chris went out and worked the Wetmore – Munising Trail 419 Connector. With minimal snow he was very limited on filling two washouts. Alger SORVA did an out-of-pocket repair on one of them with two loads of gravel from Gerou Excavating. With no snow to work with, we also have a temporary culvert on this section not yet placed and an open stream.
Today’s forecast is for a cloudy 32 degrees, 5 to 15 mph SE winds.
Still – If you must venture out please ride conservatively and not dig holes when you you accelerate. A hard flat trail base makes for a great season of grooming and riding.
Keep Snow Dancing and get your friends to join in. We will continue to do what we can in preparation. Stay tuned for updates!
(Today’s photos are from Operator Chris working the Bully between Wetmore and Munising.)
