FINALLY SOME SNOW!
According to the weatherman, Munising was the winner with this last storm having a wet, system snowfall totaling 12″. Dropping temperatures and more snow on the way so trail conditions should really be improving. All of our trails are in good condition with exception of Trail 417 and 418. Those two segments should be able to be cleaned up by the weekend with more snow on the way.
Operators Chuck and Dave were out grooming last night and completed all of Trail 419 East, Trail 7 North and Trail 8 East and West. Trails were grooming flat and hard, easily passing the “boot test”. The 7 miles north of Shingleton also flattened out nicely and packed in good, lets hope she hold up.
Today’s Forecast: Snow Showers, 35 degrees and 5 to 20 mph SW wind becoming W. Looks like snow for the next few days.
PLEASE ride with caution, stay right and be respectful, stay on the trail and off the throttle when in the towns.
Keep Snow Dancing with your friends and stay tuned for updates!
(Today’s photo’s are Trail’s 422, 8 east, 8 north of Shingleton and the Wetmore Spur)
- Ride with caution on trail sections not yet groomed.
