CAN’T ASK FOR MUCH BETTER TRAIL CONDITIONS!
Overall trail conditions are very good to excellent with bitter cold weather hanging on. The weather conditions have snowmobile traffic down. This morning is -4 degrees so again be sure you are dressed properly and have friend riding with you.
Past 24 hour Grooming runs:
During the day Operator Phil groomed Trail 419 West through Munising, 7 North, 8 West, 419 East and Operator Daryl ran Trail 8 West, 7 South down to CR440 and back in the Deere. Last night Operator Chuck ran the Wetmore Spur, Trail 422, 8 East to Shingleton and Operator Kris groomed Trails 8 West, 417, 418 and 7 North into Christmas and back. Again, with extreme cold temperatures all runs were getting very good grooming results and setting quickly.
Today’s Forecast: Winter Storm Warning Snow Showers, 11 degrees and 10 mph West wind. 1 to 2 inches accumulation. Wind Chill -15 degrees today.

Some off-trail speeding ticket complaints have come in from riders. Please note that ALL Alger County Roads have a 30 m.p.h. snowmobile speed limit.
PLEASE ride with caution, stay right and be respectful, stay on the trail and off the throttle when in the towns.

1 Mile West of the Doty Bridge a large depression and bump keeps appearing as the day progresses - RIDE WITH CAUTION!
8 West - Chatham
Very Good
Light fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday night.
3/4 Mile West of H-13 a series of large depressions keep appearing as the day progresses - RIDE WITH CAUTION!
7 South - CR440
Very Good
Light fresh snow, groomed and set very good Monday.
1/4 mile South of Doe Lake Road a large depression and bump keeps appearing as the day progresses - RIDE WITH CAUTION!
7 North - Christmas
Excellent
Light fresh snow, groomed and set perfect Monday night.
419 East - Wetmore
Very Good
Light fresh snow, Groomed multiple times daily. High traffic trail so it may get choppy between grooming runs.
419 West - Munising
Good
Light fresh snow, groomed and set very good Monday. Trail will get choppy between Wetmore and Munising.
418 - Au Train
