SLOWLY BUT SURELY GETTING BETTER!

Overall groomed trail conditions are good. We received a few inches of new blowing and drifting snow last night with a windy, snowy day in the forecast. Grooming continued yesterday primarily starting to shape Trail 419 between Munising and Wetmore. Much more snow is needed there so ride with caution. Trail 7 heading South starts thinning South of Doe Lake Road with reports of some gravel mix closer to CR440. Trail 422 has vehicles still driving on Miners Castle Road and between M-28 and H-58 there are few large depressions. Trail 417 will be rocky and needs much more snow before it can be set. More snow is also needed to fill in underlying trail defects in areas so keep an eye out for that surprise hole in the trail. If out riding please avoid hard throttle starts and digging holes so we can continue to build a clean flat base that will hold. Please be patient as we continue to work on getting these trails set. Continue the snow dances and Stay Tuned for updates!

Past 24 hour Grooming Operations: Trail 8 from 7 miles North of Shingleton West to Trail 419, Trail 419 into Wetmore &, Wetmore Spur. Trail 419 between Munising and Wetmore had shaping started with tractor only.       (reference map below for trail locations)

24 hour Forecast: Snow Showers & Blowing Snow, 12º F and dropping, Winds NW 20 mph, Gusts to 30 mph, 1 to 2 inches Accumulation
Currently: Scattered Snow Showers, 16º F, Winds NW 17 mph , Gusts 29 mph
