TRAILS GROOMING WELL BUT EXTREMELY HIGH TRAFFIC
The team is working overtime to try and keep up with a crazy amount of riders this weekend. The entire system has been groomed well in the last 24 hours and grooming continues. Please note that this very high traffic will have trail conditions deteriorating quickly between grooming runs. We had a set-back Friday night into Saturday but were able to get back to two machines grooming. It’s a bit of a challenge with controls only working reversed in the spare back-up machine but it’s out there. Our Pisten Bully is expected to be back up and running Tuesday.
Remember these Operators are working these trails and fixing grooming equipment for you voluntarily – Thank an Operator when you see one.

In the photos we have a snapshot of traffic from our counter in Wetmore – 977 on Saturday. Our highest counter area is Trail 7 near the Buckhorn, curious to see what those numbers were.

Today’s Forecast: Partly Sunny, 26 degrees and 5 to 10 mph S wind.

PLEASE follow the trail onto the shoulder of M-28 at the railroad crossing. DO NOT cross directly over the railroad tracks. This is a safety concern for riders, a potential for train derailment and/or loss of a trail crossing.

PLEASE ride with caution, stay right and be respectful, stay on the trail and off the throttle when in the towns.
Keep Snow Dancing with your friends and stay tuned for updates!

(Today’s photo’s are Trail’s 7, 8, 417, 418 & 419 before and after grooming)
