HAPPY NEW YEAR! – RECOVERY IN PROCESS
Overall trail conditions are fair to good but not much base. Recent high winds, heavy wet snow and rain do have trees coming down so be careful and stay alert. Groomer Operators have been clearing them but reports of additional fall have come in. Recent Rain also has water flowing in sections of Trail 418 just east and west of Au Train. Heavy use between the holidays with warm, un-groomable weather had the trail base blown out to dirt between moguls in some areas. The ground is still not frozen so establishing a good hard flat base has been a challenge, please be patient and hope for the weather’s cooperation. We really need a good dryer type snowfall to improve trail conditions. Do a cold weather snow dance – Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe!
