FINALLY COLD WEATHER – MACHINE DOWN
Overall trail conditions are good. Temperatures have finally dropped and we are getting great grooming results, unfortunately with only 1 machine running right now. Keeping conditions at “good” because the snow is getting tired, trails are flat but snow is sugary in areas. We have a major break down with the Pisten Bully in Trail 417 so the Deere is working overtime to help cover. Trenary Northern Trails is helping out too by grooming Trail 8 from Trail 417 east to Trail 7 north. Right now it looks like Thursday before the Bully is recovered and another week before the repair is completed. In the mean time we will continue to groom and do our best with what we have. Keep the cold weather snow dancing going, Enjoy the Trails and Ride Safe!
Past 24 hour Grooming Operations: (currently operating with only 1 machine)
Trail 7 from Trail 418 to CR440, Trail 8 from 7 miles North of Shingleton west to Trail 417, Trail 418, Trail 419 from Trail 8 to Wetmore.
Forecast: Scattered Snow Showers, High 22ºF, Winds NW 15 mph with 20 mph gusts
Currently: Cloudy, 21ºF, Winds NW 16 mph with 28 mph gusts

- We have a machine down on Trail 417 near the overlook approx 1.5 miles south of Trail 418 Brownstone Junction. The Pisten Bully and Groomer are on the side of the trail with cones. Ride with caution in this area with single lane passing of the machine. This is a major break-down so it may be sitting there for a few days. (See gallery for map with location)
