Great Start But Rain Stopped Grooming!

Overall trail conditions are very good to excellent. A fresh 5 inches of snow fell yesterday with great grooming results and excellent trail conditions. Our night runs started out great but a steady rain started the snow “balling-up” in the groomers so Operators cut their runs short. Today’s plan is to finish up where they left off before the heart of the storm hits.
Ride with caution, we are seeing a lot of trees coming down and ready to with all this heavy wet snow. Once today’s winds pick up more downfall is expected. Ride Safe and Enjoy the Trails!
Thanks from Operator Keith for help from Riders moving a broken sled hazard off the trail near Shingleton Saturday morning (picture below). Small world, it was actually a group from Trenary Northern Trails (TNT) out enjoying the trails in between working on them.

Past 24 hour Grooming operations:
Trails 8 East to 7 miles north of Shingleton and 8 West, 7 North to Christmas and south to CR440, Trail 417 to Brownstone Intersection, Trail 418, Trail 419 East and West, Trail 422 and Wetmore Spur.

Today’s Forecast: BLIZZARD WARNING Snow starting mixed with freezing rain, 33 degrees dropping to 5 degrees tonight, 10 to 20 mph North wind becoming 25 to 35 with up 65 mph gusts from the North later today.  6 to 10 inches of snow accumulation.

PLEASE ride with caution, stay right and be respectful, stay on the trail and off the throttle when in the towns.
Keep Snow Dancing with your friends and stay tuned for updates
