NO POSITIVE CHANGES and NO NEW SNOW

No new snowfall over the last few days or in the 5 Day forecast. Daytime temperatures are hovering around freezing so what little snow there is barely hanging on. We are seeing very little snowmobile traffic with Poor, dirty snow, rocky patch trail conditions across our system. Last week the best we had measured was 4 inches of groomed trail base on a hard frozen ground. About 50 percent of what we panned did have rocks exposed, especially to the south of Buckhorn Road and west of Trail 7 north. Trail 417 and Trail 418 near AuTrain and west are un-groomable and very rocky. Since then it’s been slowly deteriorating with sunny days around the freezing mark. Grooming operations are on hold until we see a substantial snowfall. Still all we can do is hope for the best and continue the snow dances. Stay Tuned for updates with this crazy season!

Past 24 hour Grooming Operations: NONE, On-Hold

Forecast: Drizzle/Flurries/Mostly Cloudy, High 34ºF, Winds NE 5 mph to 10 mph
Currently: Drizzle, 35º F, Winds NW 7 mph
