GOOD RIDING – SUCCESSFUL MACHINE RECOVERY
Overall trail conditions are good. Keeping conditions at “good” because the snow is getting tired, trails are flat but snow is sugary in areas. We are down a machine with the Deere trying to cover 101 miles. Fortunately Trenary Northern Trails is doing what they can to help us on the West end. Looks like another week before the Bully is going again. In the mean time we will continue to groom and do our best with what we have. Yesterday we had a successful recovery of the Bully with help from Trenary Northern Trails and the DNR. We will post a full story on that involved process later. Trail 7 from Christmas to Buckhorn Road, Trail 8 from 7 miles North of Shingleton west to Trail 7 North, Trail 418, Trail 419 from Trail 8 to Wetmore and from Christmas to the West Bay Spur and Holiday Inn.

8 East - Shingleton
Good
No new snow, soft but flat with a good base, groomed Thursday night. Soft sugary snow with minimal chop between grooming runs.
8 West - Chatham
Good
No new snow, soft but flat with a good base, groomed Thursday night. Soft sugary snow with minimal chop between grooming runs.
7 South - CR440
Good
No new snow, soft but flat with a good base, groomed Tuesday to CR440 and Thursday night to Buckhorn Road. Soft snow with minimal chop between grooming runs.
7 North - Christmas
Good

419 East - Wetmore
Fair to Good
No new snow, soft but flat with a good base, groomed Thursday night from Trail 8 to Wetmore. Soft snow with high traffic so expected to get choppy between grooming runs. From Wetmore to Munising is rough due to Bully being down and inaccessible with our Deere.
419 West - Munising
Fair to Good
No new snow, soft but flat with a good base, groomed Wednesday night from Christmas to West Bay Spur. Soft snow with minimal chop between grooming runs. From West Bay Spur intersection to Munising is rough due to Bully being down and inaccessible with our Deere.
