TRAIL REPORT, Sunday, January 15, 2023 3:00 a.m.
TRAIL HOLDING ON NICELY DESPITE HIGH TRAFFIC!
Traffic is up this weekend but the trails are staying fairly flat with good snow cover and a good hard base. Sections of trails are becoming a bit sugary in areas and some ice developing in corners. Keep a close eye on conditions as you ride and stay right. We have a few wet trouble spots on Trail 418. The holes on Trail 418 are hazardous so ride and cross with extreme caution (Map in images showing locations). Get out and enjoy some great riding conditions and keep the snow dancing going – we really, really need new snow.

Flat, Good Base and plenty of snow. Expected to get choppy. Thin from previous logging operations for a few miles South of Buckhorn near Baldy Lake. Groomed 1/14/2023
7 North - Christmas

419 East - Wetmore

ICY CONDITIONS - The hill heading out of Munising toward Wetmore has an icy base so ride with caution.

WARNING! - Watch for water holes and flowing water near the East end of Trail 418. The East holes are not deep with a solid gravel base and crossable. The West holes are deeper with a hard bottom. Use extreme caution when crossing.
